How it Works

We're available 7 days a week for video consultations. You'll get a link to our virtual office where you'll meet with the dentist who will guide you on your teeth straightening journey. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about our process.

Choose from an appointment at our Redwood City location or have us come to your office to do a 3D Scan and Photos. Within seconds after the scan you'll see a digital results simulation so you can preview your smile after Invisalign treatment with Dentistry Unwired. At this point we can talk about  payment plans but you don't need to commit until you're 100% happy with the projected result!

You'll receive your first set of Invisalign trays in the mail and we'll show you how to care for them during your first Video Checkin. You'll get important tips on taking the trays in and out and making sure they're effective. If you prefer to meet us in the office for this visit, we're more than happy to do that too. 

 Any visits to the dental office will be kept at a minimum, but we'll ask you to come in for just a couple things. Placing little buttons on the teeth helps make sure they move exactly the right way. Teeth are round and slippery, these composite buttons help the plastic trays grip the teeth and are one of the many reasons for the proven efficacy of Invisalign aligners.

We'll keep meeting every few weeks to make sure your tooth movement is on track. Along the way, we're able to make any tweaks necessary and we'll do our best to make sure it's as convenient as possible for you. 

When your teeth are nice and straight we'll do another 3D Scan to make your retainers. You'll need to wear these just like your Invisalign trays for a few months and then you'll be able to switch to nightly wear. Retainers are an essential part of the Invisalign process. A complimentary set of retainers is included in every Invisalign treatment with us!
